The symbol of the Judicial General Council is framed by two wheat wreaths containing 79 golden kernels representing the 79 court offices all over the country, and ‘The Golden Soyombo Symbol’ above, signifying the independence, sovereignty and the spirit of Mongolia.
The scales of justice are depicted at the center of the symbol representing the strengthening of justice, the main function of the judiciary. The water lily below the scales is the symbol of stability and holiness. The scale’s beams are portrayed like an open book, symbolizing the judicial administrative body’s adherence to the Mongolian Constitution and all other laws.
The hands encompassing the scales of justice symbolize the duty of the judicial administration to ensure the impartiality of judges and the independence of the judiciary.
