Four. Power of the Chairman and Members of the Judicial Qualifications Committee

4.1. Members of the Qualifications Committee shall have the following powers:

4.1.1. Propose specific issues for consideration at the Qualifications Committee sessions, propose recommendations to improve procedures and regulations;

4.1.2. Conduct required procedures, examine and respond to petition, compliant and/or request that is redirected to them from the Chairperson of the Qualifications Committee;

4.1.3. Prohibited to disclose information regarding candidates’ privacy, examination documents, sessions of the Qualifications Committee, votes and comments of the members; 

4.1.4. Shall not have any undue influence while conducting its mandate and shall evaluate in an independent and impartial manner;

4.2. The Chairperson of the Qualifications Committee shall abide by Article 4.1. of this procedure and shall have the following powers:

4.2.1. To supervise the Qualifications Committee activities and chair the sessions;

4.2.2. To represent the Qualifications Committee, to communicate and meet with other organizations and officials within his/her powers;

4.2.3. Report the Qualifications Committee activities to the Judicial General Council;

4.2.4. To appoint a chair of the sessions while he/she is away.
